Russell has sixteen years experience on the World Pro Tour, was European Champion and the first European ever to make the World Championship Tour. He has worked as the Head Coach for the English Team. He is a qualified BSA Coach and an RNLI trained Lifeguard.

Russell offer's intermediate and advanced level coaching from an Elite Training Centre overlooking Fistral Beach, Newquay. Coaching is available on an individual basis, for advanced surfers or for those that may want to take their surfing to the next level. Whether you're a young competitor, top level surfer or just looking to make a few adjustments to improve your surfing technique, Russ can tailor a programme to suit you.
